Publisher, journalist and author. Born in London, 1863, Vidler migrated to Melbourne in 1888 and then moved to Geelong, where he was part-proprietor and editor of the Geelong News. After heading the publishing department at George Robertson, Melbourne, he began publishing under his own name but the business folded in 1930. Vidler died in 1942.
